My main collecting focus has recently changed a bit. I currently collect interesting cards of HOFers, along with a view vintage sets including 1938 Goudey, T205, and E121 Henry Johnson Confectioners.
I enjoy baseball cards because the evolution of baseball, advertising, graphic design, printing and American history itself are reflected in tiny pieces of cardboard. I also enjoy baseball cards because they represent a nice distraction from everyday life. Lastly, I enjoy them because I've met lots of great friends in the hobby.
During the day, I work for a small advertising agency in New Jersey. As part of that job, I'm lucky enough to work for a few clients within the hobby. It is infinitely cool to be able to intertwine my hobby with my work, and a great way to keep work interesting.
