In their Summer, 2006 auction, Mastro Auctions featured a first-series uncut sheet. Unfortunately, the sheet has had restoration work done on it, but it still presents extraordinarily well.
This same sheet, I believe, sold at a Mastro auction in the late summer or fall of 2005.

I worry about this sheet, because despite being restored, it's still a very nice specimen. You'll also note two HOFers - Ducky Medwick and Charlie Gehringer - on the inside of the sheet (as opposed to along the edges). How easy would it be to trim this sheet into a grouping of 24 Near Mint cards, skewing the entire population of high-grade, first-series cards?
On a less sinister note, I will assume that the second series sheet lays out the same way (except the Vosmik, in the top-left corner, must be tilted to the right on the second series sheet - see my Vosmik page). However, I have never seen one. Anyone?
